Hello everyone!
this past August, we had our very first meeting of 2026; here are some of the things we discussed!
- What do the general members of Pullman WYA want to work on, going forward?
- What are some events Pullman WYA could participate in?
- No Hate in WA State!
It was very fun to speak to all my general members, at last! Pullman WYA has always wanted to work on civic education. The new ideas from our members were great! For any of you who missed it, here is our running list of concerns:
- Political literacy
- helping local businesses last
- Abuse and Marital violence
- Public Transit support
- Supporting Education at PHS: this includes help with the FAFSA, Scholarships, and graduating requirements (can you tell many of us are upperclassmen?)
To all prospective members; please reach out to us! we’d love to have you help out, and share your own ideas for what we can help out with in Pullman!
